go to google.com

search for "proxy lists"

it will give you a ---- load of servers and ports and ---- that are running proxy servers.

proxy's are basicly a gateway that you can run your connection through and you'll have there ip. basicly a way to be anonyomous on the internet...it isn't too anonyomous but close enough for the basic forum noob administrator.

anywys, so there are a few differnet types of proxys a lot of them that you will find wont work, becuase they are over used and are shut down. you also need to make sure that it doesn't forward the x-forward address or whatever it is becuase you have your ip and your x-forward and some proxys will only change your ip and not your x-forward and the x-forward is the same as yer ip so they can still ban you that way if you see what im saying.

so anyways, then you just go to

IE-> Tools -> intenet options -> connections ->
either settings or lan settings then enter in the proxy info... then click ok ok ok and then close all IE windows, open a new one then go to an ip finder address and make sure it is registering as that, also if it doesn't evne load a single page, the proxy is down so use another.
