you can ask Rollmodel, he knows that I am seriously buying this crap. But I am planning on taping the tune and writing a reveiw on Neptune =)

From what i have gotten it costs 100 dollars to install and whatever the tuner charges for tuning. I like the options that it has and its a cheaper way than hondata, and has more options than uberdata.

you need to add to that, a good clutch, axles, good tuning on a dyno for a good day will run you a few hundred bucks, the ---- to rebuild your motor, machine shop work, you better add at least another grand to what you are planning on spending.

but with all of that, im sure you thought of that already.

Yes I have, dyno tuning is gonna cost me around 400.00

Axles are staying stock.

And the clutch I have is made for 300, so I will probly have to upgrade =( But im shopping for everything with my list. Machining is gonna be done by a local shop, and assembly is gonna be done by a friend of my dads for free =)

it will be a fun project.

i dont know how high the outcome will be (hp wise) cause i am a d series dood.. so.. as long as its over 250.. i will be happy.. :P

not really, just looking out. sounds like hes on a "tax return budget" -and hes not looking at the small ---- which is where everyone forgets.

im not hating, sounds like an awesome project. just tellin him like it is.

i dont wanna start an arguement about this.. cause that would be stupid. but hes not on a tax return budget. the tax return is going to other things (food, bills, whatnot)
and he is using other money. but in order to use that other money it would be easier and less of a financial impact to do it around tax return.

i love e-file.. in fact thats a way that i got most of my stuff for my car.

its not a 'bluff' but the plan may 'differ' a little from what he stated. thats the plan as of now, but if expectations change, or he wants better reliablity.. or whatever.. things will get dropped/added.

i think he shoulda waited til we had pics.. but its all good.

and with the guys that 'talk down' about this, this site is where i learned a lot of what i know, and had a lot of help.. so have a little faith. :P

Like I told stealth mode sorry, just anxious and wanted something to talk about. Like Rollmodel said, it might differ a little bit, but my budget for this project is high, not tax return, its just gonna help pay off some high bills I got.

But hey, whenever I get the stuff, I am gonna use up my digi camera like never before when I get it, AND when I install it.
