peel or scrub some potatoes
heat some oil, frying oil, lard, wop grease, whatever you have
slice the taters 3/8" thick
cross-cut them to 3/8" thick
toss em in oil and maintain temp 325º - 385º
remove with slotted spoon, throw into paper towel lined bowl or dish, salt a few dashes, shake, salt/shake again.
3 loads of fries salted
vinegar your fries, add some salt to help the fries absorb the vinegar, add ketchup
