I saw that to. Got me very interested in converting a car. My friend has a 70's diesel Mercedes sitting in his driveway.....
I have a buddy that is a software engineer at Intel, he makes a ton of money, but still drives a beat *** turbo diesel Mercedes, and runs biodiesel in it. Gotta love it...

I was baked to and saw the same show Apparently all you need to run processed biodiesel is synthetic fuel lines. Makes me wonder why all cars dont run on biodiesel. It would be funny for corn farmers to be the next oil tycoons.

My dad converted his car to run on waste fish oil 25 years ago when he was working in a fish oil factory.
It was a seperate tank with a heater, all fuel lines and the filter were also heated.
The car had to start up on diesel, and then it switched over to the fish slurry when it was warm. Also had to switch back to diesel before shutting off.

Fish oil has a pretty low odor, and the exhaust smelled like a BBQ.
