i kind of thought about selling off all my ---- lately but what keeps on stopping me and turning me back is the time already invested. Plus i know that 6months down the line when i see someone boosting their car or ride in a buddies car, i'll be inspired to boost all over again, and probably kick my self in the *** for selling my ----.

so i continue on...

Hey buddy, I'm in the same process as you and I've felt the same feeling. But when you put
it all together you'll definiteley thank yourself and your bank account when you think how much you saved instead of buying a wrx. Your call. You're the king of your castle but hopefully you'll achieve your goal. Kick A$$ with your project and hopefully you'll post when your done to show everybody!

My car was totalled last weekend (I wasnt at fault.. just waiting on an insurance check). I have 80% of a turbo kit sitting under my bed all I need is a chip burner and associated ZIF socket, EEPROM chip etc and misc piping before I am done. Due to a job falling through for the summer the turbo project probably wouldnt be done... but I will probably profit a bit off the accident because I believe I am going to get the frame straightened on my "totalled" hatch as only the front left tire has some slight positive toe. Never driven a turbo car... but am addicted to turbo's just on reading about them. Don't give up.

If you can weld up a manifold, downpipe, chargepipes, weld up a new exhaust, do all the fuel management and get it to run right in a night than your a better man than me. It takes me a weekend just to build the manifold.

And to turbo the Mustang I'll need to rewire lots of the engine and becuase I'll be running MEgasquirt and becuase of where the turbo will be monted I'll be running sidepipes which all have to be fabbed so doing it in one night is next to impossible.

Exhaust I want to do with roush sideskirts:

i wasn't thinkin bout the whole makin process. i forgot ur a man of fabrication. i was talkin more bout "box of parts on floor" and just installing the bitches. not necessarily a whole night but couple hours. ic pipes took me even a while. those took most of my install cuz i jus had a buncha bends. new project was a basic drop in. i took ur advice on jus buying a motor that's already turbo but i didn't go with the rb.
