Default calling it quits? (turbo game)

have you guys ever been at the point where you feel like just selling everythign and getting a different car?

i'm at that point right now... i have a few hundred dollars worth of stuff to buy and i'll be ready to install my turbo kit including clutch etc. (ie, flanges, flywheel, piping, etc needs to be purchased)

but i feel that once i'm ready, installing it seems very intimidating with my gauges, oil lines, everything that has to do with installing and everything else afterwards (ie tuning and such) is holding me back.

it's probably cuz i lost the passion to this... it's great and all, sometimes i just wish i had a wrx wagon or something. i don't get much motivation to set a goal because the only thing that keeps me going are the vids i download... i've never even sat in an aftermarket boosted car before

gathering parts and waiting is quite depressing kinda like being a virgin when you are 30. i cant wait untill i finally own a boosted car of my own rathr than ridng with other people.

i had all kinds of parts laying around for 8 months before i swapped the LS into my hatch and then the car was in peices for anoth 6 months before i finally finished, all the suffering was well worth it when i knew i did 99% of teh work myself with ZERO knowledge

once you get finished you'll be able to look back and say i did this with my own 2 hands

i had the hardest time, i got to drive all kinds of fast *** cars, R32's, heavily modded 1.8t's, and a few others. it just made want to have something of my own that i built insted of bought.

that's probably why you have more motivation doing it than i do... i drive my slow gsr everyday with the loud *** header rattle. makes me want to get a different car.
