Service receipts are nice, if it's been used frequently it's usually been tuned up every once in a while.

If it's got barely any hours on it then what have you got to worry about? Yamahas are solid.

well i bought it,

yes it starts....dumbass

had it out a few times over the weekend, awesome machine, really happy with it,

only slight issue is that it doesnt always drop back to idle, it will drop back to a high tick over, i'd say about 500rpm over idle, then drop back to idle, it doesnt do it every time, ive checked the setup of the throttle cables, but everything seems in order,

any ideas?

it got rebuilt 6 hours ago,

surely a clogged jet would give the opposite symptoms by not deliverying enough fuel?

If it just got rebuilt make sure to take it easy and break it in before running ***** out on it also check the plugs to see if your carb is jetted correctly. Check out the YFZ Central forum for more info YFZCentral (Powered by Invision Power Board)
