Re: Bushings blow! (OMG IT'S 1337!)
That's a rather nicely done MPFI swap , what fuel management is he using? Unfortunately for me i have a 86 flatbody Starion no intercooler automatic . Good side is i finally found what the problem was with this car (should be a simple fix -_-) and only cost me 250 bones. Bad side i'm broke as ---- and looking for a job, prom and graduation time is around the corner, and i'm Hispanic . I'll try forming some JB weld around the bushings that are still left in the linkage later today and see what happens, hopefully it will be with a smile in my face.

Well i finally took out entire center console disconnected every linkage to the transmission and managed to get bit 20 times in 2 hours . Turns out someone dropped this tranny before and did a horrible job at it. Every single bolt is almost stripped, plastic parts are cracked, the cover over the flywheel on the transmission is missing, and a bunch of bushings and rubber caps are missing . On the upside JB weld does an excellent job at creating hard "rubber bushings", will finish tommorow and do a nice smoky burnout of success .
Like i've mentioned before Starions are rediculously hard to find decent parts for .
MOSQUITOS SUCK AND ITS ALMOST 10 AND IT'S STILL LIGHT OUT .
