I have a 90 crx dx and I知 trying to lighten it up some. I know 88 doors is a big difference, and hopefully I can get some, but I知 deciding if I want to take my bumpers off my car and just put the shells back on. Do you recommend this?

do you want to die? is this a track car? I'm assuming you have a race harness or something since 88 doors no tienen seat belts

Its a unibody car, its not a little "extra" damage, you will die.

it's your call. My safety comes before 30 pounds in my point of view, could be different for you.

Yeah true, I guess I would like them if I ever was in an accident, I wish there was a way around them though, there so heavy. Maybe ill just take them out on track day.

Find an 89 hf. They have the same doors as the 88's and lighter bumpers.

Heres an idea for the bumpers. Make them out of tubing they would be stronger and lighter. Bad thing. they would be hard to fab without a welder and I do recommend a welder. Oh and the jap version don't have bumpers cuz they drive slow over there and have fewer wreaks. Over here we have dumb *** kids in souped up cars driving stupid fast and thats why we have the d.o.t. To save us from ourselves. An you thought that the DOT was evil huh?

For the people that dont have bumper supports: How in the hell do you secure the bumper to the car?
Sorry for the lame question but some bitch hit me and fucked up my fiber glass front bumper so now i'm going all stock. Anyways she also kinda fucked up the bumper support; so if I could get away without putting the bumper support I'll be better off. Thanx
