In '88 there were approx. 5200 Fieros made of those there was approx. 1500 GTs. '88 was the only year where Pontiac did not use the Citation front suspension in the rear and a Chevette front suspension and steering in front. In the '88 model year all Fieros came with new suspension and steering designed by Lotus. There were 2 car that had 4-wheel steering. I have owned one if I ever find a good ( like for free) deal I would back away and run. These cars need to much work to get them right. Although Fieros with a Cady Northstar is quite a lot of fun.

I wouldn't mind a stockish looking fiero with a supercharged 3.8l swap and a 5 spd, take off the huffer and run a big snail for a piece of ---- to beat up on for weekends :P

nope..................... next "quick" build is going to be a suzuki samurai with a 2.8l chevy v6, aluminuim heads and 3.1 crank. 5spd, spring over axle, 31 inch boggers and a rear locker.

First I got to get my stupidduty fixed, my turbo ---- the bed on the weekend. :1

I would bypass those steamy piles of fail and go right to a crate 3.1 pushrod. Last I checked the warrantied GM ones were a decent price, none of the 2.8 problems made it into the 3.1 pushrod, and they ran pretty strong.
