Default brake problems

My rear left brake seems to be constantly engaged, as it is hot as hell after everytime i drive my car. My rear right brake is perfectly fine. I even had this checked by a mechanic, although not a honda tech, and he is pretty much lost as to what exactly is doing it. He thinks it has something to do with the emergency brake and that it is still catching even when I release it, causing the brake to stay somewhat engaged and get hot as it rubs while driving.

Has anyone had this problem, and can anyone help me out?

Default Re:brake problems

Drum or disc brake setup in the rear? I'll bet the square cut seal in the caliper it shyt and not returning the piston the way, so that caliper stays locked all the time. Replace the caliper if it's a disc brake setup.
If they are drums in the rear remove the drum and inspect whats going on. It could be your emergency brake stuck on, but I doubt it.
