------- BOWFLEX AGENTS SUCK

Re: ------- BOWFLEX AGENTS SUCK
I used to do the same thing lift for a week then stop for a week then lift again next week. But now I try and life weights everyday in between work, sleep and whatever else I have to do that day. And I only lift til my arms cant lift anymore. Im only working with 210 but after lifting it for awhile it gets to be a workout.

bowflex better than free weights? WTF are you talking about?
quicker results? are you retarded?
WORK is WORK. Lifting 50lbs with a machine doesn't "work faster" than lifting 50lbs of free weights. You know what the difference is? A machine assists with the load/weight travel. Free weights, you're using only your body to lift instead of a mechanical device directing your movements.
You'll get more "real" results by lifting free weights.

the machine doesn't "help you lift the weights" its designed to make you lift in the correct way, often times people lift more on a machne because of that alone.
also on a machine you do not have to hold the weight side to side, like while doing a bench press. that makes it a tad easier.
i don't see a problem with machines like a blowflex at all... as for lifting until you arms can't move.
definatly not the correct way to lift.

but for at home, id rather have the blowflex than a million free weights. its easier to change weight and do lots of different lifts

I usually stop lifting because I get too lazy to switch the weights out. I'll eventually buy enough crap so I can do all the different lifts without having to swap weights.

On a bowflex you do have to stabilize the load because you're pulling on a cord. A traditional weight machine however has joints and beams that generally only allow one path of movement.
