I have a very similar egay special adjustable that was fluttering too (8psi), even if I had it adjusted soft to the point that it was about to pop open. I opened it up and cut 1.5 turns of the spring off. Now I have it turned down to the harder sidea few more trwists, but I get a nice blow off at 8psi. Anywhere below 3 and I still get some flutter, but overall I am happy with cutting it. I say do it in increments. Cut a half turn at a time until you are happy with the result.

WARNING!WARNING!WARNING!WARNING!WARNING!WARNING!WA RNING! for 70 bucks it's ok for a BOV if it works good. but, let me tell you something. they suck. put your finger underneath and push the valve, make sure it's not to tight and that it moves up and down smoothly. they usually get stuck once it comes down because the chamber is not precisely measured. many people have bought that piece of ----. the tossed it in the garbage. but then again you might of gotten a descent one.

To turn it = to adjust it. I didn't think you needed vacuum on it just for adjusting it, I thought you could just turn the top and set it to where you like whether or not vacuum is on it.

No worries. I put some vacuum on the bov, and it's still extremely hard to twist the top to adjust it.
