$6200

Not too bad, I think. The only things wrong with it (that I know of) is a broken spring in one of the passenger doors (like $90 or so). Other than that, it feels really strong and it corners like a champ.

The guy originally listed it @ 7500, didn't sell, then knocked it down to 6500... then I talked him down.

Insurance isn't too bad on it... I'm 21 yrs old and I have everything but collision (if I crash my own car I deserve to pay) and for 6 months it's only $500.

Scary part is that I'm already considering it... 10.5:1 compression ratio is a bit high though. That can be dealt with, however

Yeah, I only really wanted to spend around 5k or so, but I really wanted this and I had the cash, so what the hell.

Compared to the blue book value, my *** really didn't take a beating.

I'm pissed... a lot of those yuppy ***** on the BMW forums all pay mechanics and ---- to do any FI, so they suck when it comes to information. I really don't know the limits of that engine and they're not quite as common as a b-series, so I don't wanna blow it up. I'm not too sure what the weak link will be in that engine... I'll have to do a bit more research before I do any projects on this.

BTW, supercharger "kits" start at like 4k for these... turbos are even worse. HMT FTW.
