Bought another new toy and a little update on the turbo Banshee
I bought an 04' Limited Edition Banshee. My cousin ------ed it all up and was selling it for dirt cheap since it was all fucked up. So I couldn't resist the price. I cleaned it up but still need to finish sanding and refinishing the fenders but its pretty nice. After I rejetted the carbs this thing now runs like a raped date. Some pics:
Since I get alot of questions about the turboshee I might as well update give an update. That project is going in a totally other direction. Now that I have access to free 5 axis machining and 5 axis waterjet cutting the old oil pump that was just going to be a modified 300ex pump is now a billet 6 piece assembly. Alot of the parts on it are now going to be custom and more complex than originally planned but thats why they call it a project I am however going to switch the EFI kit to this new Banshee since the EFI has been done for a while but the turbo motor wasn't reasy to be fired up yet. So this black one is going to be the test mule for the EFI system to work all the bugs out. This way I don't need to debug a turbo kit and an EFI system at the same time. Also the frame on the turbo bike is going to be modified into a drag frame kinda like theses:
Its alot cheaper and more fun drag racing quads than cars. We're already down to 12.80@94mph with my friends still running a stock frame and dirt tires, with a drag frame and slicks 9's should be pretty obtainable.

Very nice. I haven't riden my bike in months. When it's 110+ outside it's really hard to want to go riding.
