Default bo bo the magical chrysler

ummm yeah, my dd pos chrysler(97 sebring) has been falling apart for a few months now. Its been hit 3 times by drunk drivers or hit and runs and was nearly destroyed when my sister drove it. I bought it from her as a car to drive back and forth to school in. When she drove it she never changed the oil(30k miles) and it had a clunking sound that i took for rod knock. I figured id drive it till if popped or until spring came and it was warm enough for me to tear into it(no shop). It clunked bad on start up and was throwing cel and a check oil(even when it had plenty). I figured id beat it back and forth to school and didn't care what happened to it. Well last week i start it up after a cold night and the knocking is gone. Completely. Its usually BAD on start up and on cold days and then gets worse. But it was gone. I figured it was just some anomaly and it would be back but for the past week its been driving fine and has felt more powerful. cel is off the dash and its not noisy at ALL.

Anyone know what could have been wrong that was randomly fixed after a night of hard driving and a cold sitting overnight? Or did the magical chrysler fairy come and bless the stupid thing?

Maybe someone put 70% antifreeze and 30% holy water in your radiator. haha "it is blessed"

My civic did that btw, started clunking then it went away, then it came back in full swing

Sounds like you had some bad luck with it, but now that it's running well...
It's a sign to sell the car.

bodywork= wouldn't get ---- for it. Its a convertible so i figure ill wait till spring, do the bodywork to fix it up, and sell it for 4 times the price i would get for it now. People love convertibles for spring and summer...the top makes most idiots not look past the shell of the car
