Blew up my car today )= - UPDATED
Well lets start off this story.
Im crusin Down Sunrise blvd with my friend behind me (he just got a eg hatch with a h22 drop for his daily driver) i was following behind this slow *** fiero that is justy pissing me off cuz there is no A/C in my car and its like 100° outside. So i downshift to second and take off my friend proceeds to ride my *** i fly by the slow *** piece that was blocking us from doing excess speeds; so i slam it into third and hes very slowly pulling up on my side, im like ---- get into fouth and it was there for a min and i was like wth is going on meanwhile my friend is leaving me like i just stood still. i look at my tach and im stuck at 6000rpm in fourth, im like wth, shift to fifth, and it doesnt wanna go anymore. im like ok wth!@$# push in the clutch and watch the rpm's drop to 1k then to zero, car died and i was like ----! looked over at my girl and said "well i guess its over" putted my way into the pick-n-pull parking lot and i was like well ----, popped my hood and saw the radiator hose had popped off then i try, so i reconnect it and start it up it starts but is putting like a lawnmower on crack. so im like 10 miles from my apt and 15 miles from my parents house. my friend said try and drive it to the gas station well put water in it and see how far it can get.
we get to the gas station then i open the radiator cap and put some water in my radiator, bout 3 minutes later im like ok it dont take this much water look down at the turbo (im running just the downpipe) and water is pouring out the exhaust side im like ----! kinda relieved at the same time cuz we were like maybe its just the head gasket, so it takes me 3 hours to get home stopping and breaking down and stopping and hitting every red light and smoke blowing EVERYWHERE.
Although i must say this, my turbo got me home, meaning when i tried to take off from a stop i would let it out at 3k and it would drop to 1k then take seriously about 45 seconds to get to 2k as soon as the turbo spooled it pulled like a all motor one point five! well theres my story. and heres a pick of my car as it sits until i rip her apart.
