well I know its not that bad, but its gonna need a rebuild in a fewmonths with the compression loss, so I'm just gonna do it all at one time instead of tearing it down again ina few months.

I'm really not that ticked off. I just didnt expect the seal to blow. I was planning to drive my car to a local meet in charleston and get it dynoed on this setup before I changed anything with it....now, if anything I'll be dynoing the jeep.

hp numbers don't mean that much, your 1/4 mile time is what matters do you have any time slips, cause really thats all you need to know.

I wanted to dyno for the sake of knowing and comparing with my later setup which is coming a lot sooner tan I expected.. and it was only $45 for 2 pulls with wideband.

Interesting, i have never seen a honda actually blow a main seal that bad, just a couple drops a day at most.. Are you sure you dont have a blowby problem? or something else?

hah yea im sure its the seal. at idle it just ------- drips constantly. after 10 minutes in a parking lot checking it out, I had a nice size puddle under the car. at least teh size of a circle you can make by touching both hands together.

I was worried like hell driving it directly back home.

new plan is, to buy an LS long block. maybe b16A longblock while I build me other b16 block. we'll see in a day or two.

yea I know how to replace teh seal. I just did it. it didnt leak at all, then it just blew out the other day. I'm gonna be better off rebuilding the bottom end with forged internals in teh mean time. I beleive the low compression in one cylinder is causing my crank to wobble, and blow seals.
