did/does any one own a Y49 CRX, the ones that are suposed to be cursed? Do you have any good storys? I know acouple of people have them but i just want to know if the curse holds true

Bah i don't think its any thing like true. I can't find the site but i used to have it benchmarked but i lost my harddrive so i don't know where to find it. It was just this Y49 thing with the yellow CRX's that they are suposed to be cursed because this one guy had all these problems and he had other ppl join his little club of the Y49 curse. It was all in good humor but the pics. just reminded me of it.

Well, since you asked, I have a y-49 and the "curse" thing started on the crx resource like 4 years ago. Everyone has car problems the y-49 thing just became a scapegoat for everthing after a while.

I must make note that yellow CRX's are one of my favorite cars. One day I must get my hands on an SI and paint it yellow.

I don't think its true cuz my car has lots of problems and its black. Or it was going to be yellow and the factory changed it before it went yellow. Who knows. I did paint a Y49 crx when I was 18. since then it has been molested had three different engines and is currently not running. The second engine it had is being used around town like a -----. For some reason it won't blow. Its been beat, turboed and "NOSed" It has alot of bondo and ---- that I did. My frend said he didn't care about it just fill the 8 inch hole with whatever. I am suprized it isn't rusting yet. Its been 3 years.
