BIG PROBLEM AND CANT FIGURE IT OUT!
Ok I was driving down the highway when all of a sudden my car starts feeling like its running outta gas sputtering and it almost dies then runs for a sec then dies for good and the battery light came on and now it wont start. I tried to change out the ecu with a known working one and still same thing. It turns over and all ever gets fire through the plug wires just wont start. And I also used my truck to jump off my car to make sure the light wasnt cause of a low battery or something to that sort but it stayed on when cranking on it. ANY INFO WILL HELP. will the battery light be on til it starts? if so I think it may be my fuel pump cause the car has been hesitatin like a bad injector but I changed them out and still same thing. thanks in advance

Re: BIG PROBLEM AND CANT FIGURE IT OUT!
Have you tried connecting the fuel pump directly to the battery to see if it turns on. I had a problem similiar to this and it turned out to be the relay. Iīm not sure but arenīt you supposed to hear a click from the relay when you turn the car on. Hope you get the car running

If you don't hear a click it's most likely the relay.

I call fuel pump or relay. The battery light came on after your car died so the alternator wasn't charging anymore and that's why it came on. It has nothing to do with your car sputtering and dying then not starting.
Turn the key to the on position with your door open, you should be able to hear your pump going for a second to prime the system. Get a fuel pressure gauge if you can get your hands on one and that will tell you for sure if your pump is pressurizing the system.
