Default big-boards hmt ranking

hmt ranked #1454 out of 1570 or something. I am also on offtopic.com which is #5. What other boards do you all frequent other then HMT?

We did have steady growth until HMT was hacked. Last January was the biggest month for HMT, it'll be interesting it see what it'll be this year.

I'm here, HT, and I also go to autobody101 when I'm researching stuff for the car.

Forums are popular now, but being a member of 4829384083 forums can only show one thing about your life.....it doesn't exist. I think forums popularity will decrease when we all realize we spend too much time on them. Hobby specific forums aren't bad, but those "general" type of forums are the worst.

The general area in a hobby forum is to bullshit. It helps everyone get a sense of who you are, but it would fall under that catagory of non-productive. More than anything, I'm talking about forums that don't have a common interest except to babble. If HMT started as a general discussion and that was it, could you imagine the wastes of life that would attract? That's what I'm saying. I'm guilty of letting the internet waste time as well, I know this.
