A good TTZ32 might run you about $7k and a real nice one around $10k.
they are bitches to work on but so are supra's. The electronics in the z32's beats the living ---- out of the supra's and there are some awesome people working on them for the freeware community.
Me personally i'd get a TTZ because they're cheaper; dont have that ricer markup; are more exotic to most people and can be made pretty quick for pretty cheap. They're also not butt *** ugly like a pupra and don't have a huge fat ***.
And the only reason people make rediculous hp with supra's is because they can run one big turbo. Most high hp z32's are dyno queens like poopra's they have USEABLE power and tourque that you dont have to be in the last 500revs to use (thats really not that far of an exageration).
buy the z32; love it; cherish it; and be happy forever.
oh and dont get an NA. The engines are the same but they're not the same; there are enough interanal differences and the high compression to make a turbo'd na die quickly if not uber tuned. plus a TT isn't that much more expensive

SBC's are evil they will go into anything including little red wagons if you are ignorant enough :P. The cressida is supposed to be bolt on to the 1jz-gtte which would make that car a complete sleeper considering how ugly it looks :P

Supras are very much dyno queens... But they are just UNREAL from 60mph+ !!!
Saw one supra got like 43whp from an Apexi CAI !!! Yea the intake might cost $500, but that's like getting a 50shot of nitrous with no nitrous bottle or engine wear and tear.
It really is a tuff dessision in the "looks" department. The supra is pretty bad/mean looking, while the 300zx is very sleek ( designed in 1989 and still looks "cool" in 2004 says a lot ).
The supra is just more reliable, easier to make power with, and can hold almost twice as much power as the Z ( stock block vs stock block. The supra block can handle twice as much power in "built form" too).
The supra maybe a bitch to work on, but the 300zx and VR4 twin turbos are the kings of the " impossible to work on super cars" ( I know I own a TT stealth ). I'd rather work on a supra ANY DAY vs the vr4 or 300zx. To be honest I think the 300 zx is easier than the vr4 since the 300zx is RWD, not AWD.
Bet you guys didn't know the VR4 block ( 93+ ) can handle 600hp stock, and if you keep your tranny/transfer case filled with oil the drivetrain is good for 10sec. passes...
