supra hands down, those damn 300zx's have their motors crammed in there and changing spark plugs becomes a weekend project. also its very hard to cram in much bigger turbos in there. Supra owns 300zx any day

The 300z isn't that hard to work on, my mom has one and I have friends who currently have their own little gay club where everyone drives one, turbo & n/a.

I would say go with a N/A 90-96 300z then turbo it. The motors have a bit higher compression then the turbo ones and the rear ends are lower in gearing.

My brother's roommate has like a '94 300z N/A but with the turbo body parts on it (he was in a wreck and decided to go all out since he really wants this car to be TT).

You could probably nab a supra cheaper then a Z, I have a buddy who's mom bought him a '95 for xmas, I don't think she spent an entirely large amount.

just figured I'd give the Z some props.

Bah z's are dirt cheap compared to supras thanx to the fast and furious. The supra is a much better platform in my opinion but both are capable of very high numbers but the supra will take well over 1000 on a stock block and is ------- bulletproof. And im not big on how cramped the engine bay of the 300zx is its worse than my dads vr4.

im a fan of both cars the supra like teckno said is very capable of lots of horsepower on a stock bottom end. with the 300z its a very good car but takes lots more money to make fast its really up to you on what would you rather drive

Supra TT hands down. I just love teh style of the car and how it drives...

But if you want to talk purely $$$, then 300zx are cheaper to come by and would probably be a lot faster than the price that you could get a supra TT for. In cali supras are still going for upwards of 20g and 300zx are around 10g's.. You can do the math. :P

supras....
bad *** car.

condider a RX7. alot of people hate on these, but hands down, its a bad *** car. bridge port, and a 4bbl and a open header will give you a 14sec car to start with, before a turbo (or 2) and cheaper for that matter.
