i believe there is 18ft of 304 SS in that system, 2 2.5" 304 SS 16ga case custom spec mufflers, all the hangers are SS, SS tips ,and the 2 front flanges are custom laser cut SS(BMW had to make it difficult). that puts you well beyond $300 at our cost. not to mention the labor involed with bending pipe and hangers and welding. that isnt some CDM garbage, all hand made in the US by legal citizens. and i can guarantee you it will take you 3 or 4 tries to place the x-pipe correctly so it doesnt sound like *** and actually make power.

and since you are so confident you can put together "a set of metal tubes" exactly the way we did for $300 i'll reimburse you. GL finding those mufflers

Worst car I have driven would have to be the Subaru Legacy RS early 90's model.
Bone stock , and a 1600 DOHC ZC would absolutely *** all over it.
Best car would have to be mates evo 3 RS with 35R .. serious fun

if it wasnt a BMW then you wouldnt need custom ------- mufflers or custom ------- flanges thats the point.

since when did spending 1300+ on a ------- exhaust become fashionable on HMT

we didnt NEED custom mufflers, but we also didnt want to put garbage on the car. when you pay $40k for a car a few hundred dollars over the cost of a cheap chinese made POS 409ss system w/ crap mufflers and ---- fitment is a good deal. being frugal is one thing, putting shitty parts on a bimmer because you are cheap is stupid

Agreed. If its an 88 shitbox honda there is no need for baller parts cause the only goal is haulin ***. a BMW on the other hand you more than likely bought for more than a "haulin ***" purpose so why would you put cheap go fast ---- on it.

My question is... why does a straight 6 even need an x-pipe? Being TT warrants dual pipes?

Biggest Chubby: 950 rwhp (on 93 octane) didn't drive it, but got a great ride. Met a just off the lot z06 at the first light and wasted him.
Most surprising: Bentley and Classic Rolls Royce, my old Beretta I sold to my brother turns out with balloon tires it still is pretty decent at the autocross
Most disappointed: Celica GTS, Audi TT, 73 vette with a 383 swap
