Re: best swap for a beginner
there is so much engineering in a turbo kit, along with many tech. difficulties, nor have anyone who knows much bout turbocharging round here. I think a swap would pry be the best thing for me since it is easy. Where is the best place to get complete zc swaps? thanks

Re: best swap for a beginner
a dual cam zc swap would be your best bet man, there cheap easy and very reliable
Thatll take a good 2 days, maybe $1000 total
I dunno if you plan on boosting it or not
If not, pick up a pg7 ecu so you can redline that bitch like it wants to (just plugs in) and a nice i/h/e combo used for under $600 and youll have a nic elittle car that can move
add some budget boost for $1000 and ---- your moving for cheap
And yes, axles, tranny, wiring, ecu all swap over just mint. Definetely do it
Sohc vtec is defientely overrated btw- not worth the trouble

Re: best swap for a beginner
pm6 should run it fine but not up to its potential...also did you say a turbo kit is to hard to do?? There is a lot of retarded people here that have put together turbo kits here :P...just do a little research and you can do it on your own, I did, only had someone weld stuff for me and the rest I did myself, once you understand how turbo works and what it does you will be able to make a good safe kit

one thing you WILL need to do for wiring is move two wires from the dist to where the exhaust cam ends on the sensor their, it's not hard.
