depends on what you want you car to do?

if you want a platform that you can build and be reliable to a decent amount of power, go b16a

if you wanna b series w torque go ls, not so reliable

if you want a really cheap swap without having to do any mods to the wiring/chassis go with the d series vtec

either way, turbo the ---- out of the motor

ill pry just go sohv vtec so i can save money, learn more bout swaps, and i can use all my same ---- cept a computer

dohc zc is an easy dropin swap, basic handtools, pry bar, 32mm sockets, breaker bar and a buddy and you can probably get it done in 2 solid days if your both fairly new

You have to know semi what youre doing though

I wouldnt go b series on my first swap, ---- i'll never go b
