Re:Best sounding muffler IYO?
Me for now..it's stock, but a 2 inch downpipe with the rest 3" exhasut will go on and no resonator or muffler..just for the time being and for this weekends reace off coarse .
Hope it isn't to loud though...at least i hope it will be motr quiet than when I only ran the 2" downpipe hehehe

Re:Best sounding muffler IYO?
what are the advantages of an exhaust cutout?? i'm thinking of going with 2.5 inch piping, a cutout and the stock muffler(sleeeeper style ), i've seen ones in JC Whitney(cheapass, I know) that you can open up for aggressive driving(out in the conetry) and u close it for cruising out town so your $hit don't sound all raspy and ricey..ANYWAAAAYS would this be a good setup?? AND don't nobody jock it...peace

greddy. rsr. of all the things to waste money on, i think the muffler is worth it. maybe not the catback piping, but the muffler section definitely. going with anything generic or universal and not having heard it on a setup exactly like yours is a gamble imo.

Re:Best sounding muffler IYO?
Previously I ran a dynomax turbo muffler on 2.25" exhaust through a hi-flo cat, it was very quiet had a deep rumble to it somehwhat. Before that I had just the hi-flo cat and straight pipe out, very loud and very annoying.
Now I am using 3" exhaust from the cat back, and pass through a generic glass pack. My exhaust doesn't have buzzing, or other obnoxious ---- and its still emissions legal in Colorado Its still kind of a ricey sound, but thats inevitable with a 4 cylinder engine with a stroke like Honda, but it doesn't sound like those crap *** fart cans or those $600 exhausts from pos greddy.
The whole setup has cost me less then $400 to have redone 3 times lol
