Yea, full face disks are great for the street and do have a good life span if they are used for the correct application. Ive only seen the spline being completely eliminated once before. I think one of our 6 puck sprungs would be fine for your application, the street disk may not give the bite you want.

I had mine in my car for about 3 years the last one and was on tons of different motors but i did break one spring problem years ago along with fixing a couple others through out my days.

Just weld the input shaft to the crank and stop having to worry about clutches. :1

I had a XTD in my 91 SI Hatch and hated the engagement. It felt weird. Only ran it about 3 months, it did grip like a champ though. Was thinking about picking one up for the B swap, but wasn't too sure about longevity.

I ran one of your unsprung 6 pucks with an unknown PP on the street for a while and it was a dirty bitch. Kinda sucked to drive in traffic, but that was a mean clutch.

Would be nice if it worked like that :P. If it did i don't think that would last to long. I can't keep a damn transmission in the car ether. I think im on my 8th one now
