Re:Best car movie of all time?
THE ROAD WARRIOR!!!!!!The sequel to Mad Max, the all time greatest car movie. Supperchargers, nitros, poisonous snakes, car crashes, flame throwers, Mel Gibson eating dog food out of a can, everything you need in a car movie! If you watch in the opening scene one of the cars has two turbos sticking threw the hood! It was filmed in Australia so none of the cars look like anything you have ever seen before(unless you are from there).

Re:Best car movie of all time?
You guys nailed some great ones with Mad Max, Road Warrior, and Ronin (Audi S8 driven by a F1 test driver).
A couple old ones that maybe only I have seen, but are great car movies and probably among the best chase movies are Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry with Peter Fonda and a badass Charger, and Vanishing Point with a Challenger, although it is a bit more psycho.
Another cool old one is Sorcerer, with Roy Scheider transporting Nitroglycerin through the rainforest in old trucks, talk about psycho! It was a remake of an old french movie Wages of Fear, which is supposed to be pretty horrific.
