well i have a sony in my crx and a jvc in the integra and neither have given me any problems. for the price i paid for if it lasts only 3yrs whatever.

sony is 4yrs old.
jvc is 2yrs. both show ZERO signs of wear.

I've had my Pioneer for 5 years on 2 cars, still works great. Just a little bit of paint wear on the volume ****.

From what I've seen, anything "Dual" looks like crap. Sony is pretty and breaks down like something that's "pretty". I don't trust JVC too much and Alpine's are great but I've never liked their design.

i just got that dual you have there like 2 weeks ago, it's been very good to me the only bad part, is the face is kind of a pain to detach- for one you have to remove some screws before its installed, and 2nd you gotta remove the plate while its dippin down, and it only goes down when the car is on.. but other than that, i love this deck. my gf likes that she can plug her ipod in and listen to whatever the ---- she wants to

all i ever owned was pioneer. that was the first deck i got when I got my 1st car. the only other kind of cd plaer i owned was a kenwood when my pioneer deh-8600 got stolen in dc and that was just a loner, and i put a kenwood in my lumina cuz i got it for free

get your money back and buy an Eclipse. you will be happy you did.
