Been keeping busy
While rebuilding my Z6 motor I was concerned about the minor score on either and of my crank.
I was told about a product called Speedi Sleeve. I ordered it a few days ago and today I got it in the mail.
So we will see how they work out on my Vitara build.
Also I had to correct the battery box in my trunk. Both Etown and Island failed my Tech inspection with the black plastic marine box.
The cancerous rust was the next project to tackle.
So today me and Joe got to work.

Re: Been keeping busy
Basically it gets pressed onto the crank end having a new flat surface for the main seal to seat onto.
Bought it online from Dalton Bearing Service in GA. The total shipped was under $70.

Looks like you may have gotten those repair panels from rustrepair.com. I got them for my brothers crx, they fit like ----. I had to section the ---- out of them, because they think that the civic hatch repair panels will work on the crx. You have far more rust than my project, its just downright scary! Props for doing it the right way.
