BDV tranny's- just for fun

Re: BDV tranny's- just for fun
If you have ever read any of the arguements about the trans swap your look like a idiot right now. But if you have not listen in. Why put the time and fabrication for a b swap? Probably because no one has done it in a accord and there would have to be custom axles for it and also he does not want to grind into the block. And then for him to get rid of the sweet twin disc clutch. Give m factory time to get the stuff made and wait for the feedback just start rolling in. Im on the waiting list too. No way would i ever grind into the block just to fit axles and still have the ghetto hood raising towards the windshield. And to be honest i dont see the advantages of the b series being any of a cheaper route once you already invested into drive shaft shop stage 3 axles like i have. And already got the fab work done on the turbo plumbing. Sorry but a b trans on a h22 would be like having a cup sized **** on a ho. Just does not sound attractive.

Widebody. you dont seem to understand its not the H tranny's its the fact that hes making a ---- ton of torque. most b's wont make 450+ ft lbs until over 700ish hp. Hes making more torque now then before.. we measured the b and H gears. the H are wider by a smidge. I have a few sets of blown gears on b tranny's from 430 ft lbs.. His only option if he wants to run high boost is going to be to spend a good chunk of change

THE ONLY advantage is that the B series has the support for the internals (tranny wise) that Id need to make the B trannys last (gearsets/ shafts/ cuffs etc. Not to mention how fucked up it would be to PUT inn the car with my setup, not to mention the new cklutch, axles, mounts, etc.... oh, and having to get a b tranny to start with...
THE H2B is NOT the answer to the problem. Not only that, but in the end it would cost more moiney, and cause more problems than it would solve. Id just blow themn up too..
On a lighter note:
I found a KAAZ diff for 200 bux tonight from the same guy i got the minty M2Y4 from for 300!!!
Trannys going in tomorrow.... Id do it toniught but my neighbors would hate me for the compressor... SO tomorrow; after work it goes in, gets turned down to WG sopring (still about 450 WHP)... and I dewal with it for a while until the gearset issue is worked out and we get a chance to disect the l;ast box and have a look see. I have a friend (Honda technician) that wants to see the insides.... He cant believe im not breaking the diffs...
TYhat KAAZ will take care of that....
M2y4 tranny with kaaz LSD for 500 hahaha ---- ya!!!!!

Well... i just got off the phone with Guilluame at M factory... I offered my last M2Y4 tranny for all the measurements and such they need, but it turned out that they have a H22 tranny laying around they forgot about they can send to the engineers for R n D so Im off the hook... Its a M2F4 so there is a different tooth count for 1st, but they are aware of it, and are pursuing putting a gearset out as we speak...
The Gearset is officially under development....
