BBKA TiAL Wastegate Install with Jeff/Beau/Pat :::PICS:::

Re: BBKA TiAL Wastegate Install with Jeff/Beau/Pat :::PICS:::
I'm suprised my motor is still together because it spiked and creeped to 15psi quite a few times. I had to rig it up weird so I could boost over 10psi, but that's when it started creeping/spiking. The internal wastegate just kept getting worse over time. It works fine the normal way I had it, but I can't boost over 9-10psi that way... and that's no fun.

Update!!!
I went and bought a new c-clip, installed that and took it for a test drive. It worked great until I tried turning the boost up. Aparently there is just too much exhuast pressure and the little flapper is opening even with no signal. I am going to try and rig up a coat hanger to it and attach that to a bolt/bracket/frame. This will just be temporary until I can get the flapper welded shut, but I should be able to boost more than 9psi like this.
The secret picture was Jeff choking on some rice (he was crying/laughing/choking all at the same time lol... it was so funny). I took it with my camera phone at dinner, but it didn't come out very well so I deleted it.
