speaking of banking, dad went to his bank this morning & bitched the kiddies out about his equity line, and our construction loan. (we're developing 30 acers to finish out the subdivision we're building houses in.) They raised both a toal of 278k & cut the intrest on his equity line from 7 1/4 to 5.56%.
you just gotta go in there & pull their heads back out of their asses LMAO!

Dr.Boost thats why I quit banks. They are too much about feeing you to death wrongly & acting like you have to do the leg-work for it to get resolved.

I didn't take it to an ATM. Not that it really matters, the card will never be usable again anyway. I've had a card eaten before, it was shocking lol. This bank is guilty of fee-ing the ---- out of me. Things would clear almost 3 weeks after the charge, long after I remember them, and I thought all transactions have to go through within 2 weeks?

I just closed an account with Chase because they were charging me fees for just having an account with them. Of course when I went to close the account they tried to talk me out of it and said they will drop the fees, but I already opened a new account and now they're ------- me even harder than Chase. How do you pay bills with no bank? I have too many to be sending money orders and ----. I can't even count how many checks I have to write in a month. Plus, the bank my paychecks come from charges me $5 to cash my checks so that kinda ***** me right off the bat.

Go to walmart, $3 to cash a check. We have "Redstone Federal Credit Union" here, the best bank I've ever used. Unfortunately I owe them money for NSF fees I refused to pay, but am gonna end up paying because I miss them.

Cray - I'm not worried or I wouldn't have withdrawn it in the first place :P I'll pay them back within a week, so they can't do much of ---- to me. I will be sure to thank them for the 0% interest loan

So it would cost me $12 a month to cash my checks plus all the money orders I would have to buy to pay my bills that have to be mailed.

Yeah good point, I get paid weekly too so know it could quickly add up. Just go to a bank and don't overdraft :P
