When i raced on the 225/50/15 g/force's I qas going through the traps in 5th gear at 4,300 rpm. When I ran the 27/8.5/15 slicks I almost made the 1/4 mile in 4th gear! I was about 60 or 70 feet from the traps. I could not believe the change in the gear ratio with the bigger tires. I put in a new trany and put 24/8/15 slicks on and hope to try them on sunday.

Hope to have good results, sorry you have the creeping crud. Not sure why the output shaft broke but I think it was from some contact between the 27' slicks and the inner fenderwells. I launched it real hard the last run and the suspension was compressed pretty hard.Also i wonder if i could have stressed the shaft with the missed shift? I am hoping to try some more boost tomorrow!
