Default back in the game

Well kind of, I'm starting off with a stock boosted car. I dought most of you remember but after the rice tastic accord that liked to blow up I bought a 88 shadow es turbo 1 car, ran 16.5's when i bought it. Did some hmt cheapo mods for around $500 including dr's I got it to run 9.2 in the 1/8th and 14.5 in the 1/4. The car rusted out beyond repair on me so I sold it. I then bought a 95 miata with the factory lsd and all that crap and tried to autox. Was'nt my cup of tea and the car was f'n gay so I sold it. Now I bought a 1987 shelby csx. from the factory it came with better suspension, special wheels, turbo 2 drivetrain, and special shelby items. This car is one of 750 ever made, has no rust, and only 66,000 origional miles. Mod's so far include, ghetto bleed on the wastegate, mopar peformance stage 2 pcm, later turbo 2 rods, flex fuel injectors, and a homemade afpr. next is exhaust I already bought the tractor muffler I just have to order my pipes now. Heres some pics:

I drove to columbus to pick it up thats why there are ohio plates in the pic

$3,000, I did'nt own a car for a month and half and rode my bike everywhere till I found the turbo dodge I wanted. It has 20year old chrysler paint thats in fairly good shape and the drivers door has a dent but other than that its pretty nice for how old it is. Not a spec of rust on it and the drivetrain only has 2,000 miles. It is not a vnt car only the 89's were vnt cars, I personally would'nt really want a vnt car they're cool but from what I've heard kind of a pita. I just took it for a couple rips and it pulls pretty hard did my first launch in it and with the ghetto wastegate bleed I hit fuel cut at about 500rpm before redline so I need a real boost controller on it as well, and a bov compressor surge sounds cool but is'nt cool for the turbo
