Default B20 engine for $100???

I can get a B20 engine for $100, it's from an older prelude. Has anybody heard of people using these for B20vtec setups? any web sites? Thanks.

wouldn't it be the same block as the CRV? I was told that any B series block will work with a B series head. Is this not true?

alright....the b20a5....i used to own an 89 prelude SI and it was cool...but the mount locations are different...so you cant use the tranny or the engine as a regular B series swap...and on top of that...it has a long stroke to rod ratio...all jacked up...i know one person who had an 88prelude with a b20a5 and put a GSR head onto it...it hauled ***...it threw down 192hp to the wheels....but all in all...its not really a good motor cause the long stroke/rod ratio and because of the mounting locations. so...forget the motor unless u have a 3rg generation prelude.

thanks for the info, I'll pass on the engine. I thought that is was no good as well, but I heard or read somewhere that any B series heads and block will work. Guess they were wrong.

Don't do it! I wouldn't even let them pay me $100 to take that prelude motor...
