Default 87-89 integra rods

Ok so now i know that you can put these in to a D16A6 but will they fit my stock pistons/pins or do i need the integra pistons as well? also if taking out my pistons do i need to hone out the block and get new rings before i put the pistons back in? and do i have to re-ballance the rods or can i just simply put everything together without a hassle?

The correct way would just take the pistons and rods to the machine shop and have them pressed in.

Re-honeing the block? yes, I probably would put a quick hone job on the cylinder so the rings would seal.

Balancing the bottom end? well, technically you should since the 87-86 rods are heavier than the stock ones, but I am sure you could do it without problems. Lots of people slap in eagles/crowers without doing a thing.

How much will all of that cost at the machine shop? and are the integra rods stonger than the a6's?

yes they are stronger, how much stronger? I have no idea, they are just "beefier" in size, so they should support more HP.

How much would a machine shop charge? I dont know.. pick up a phone book and call around. Each machine shop has different prices.

So you actually shelled out and bought it for 160?

eh... you probably could have bought one from Winnipeg for $20-$40 and had it shipped for like ten bucks...
