B18b and D16 fitment questions
background... I've been runnin my D16 with the sohc pride for 2 years or so~ Pushin 350+hp on 23psi on a t3/to4e.
Cracked sleeve, blown head gasket, ~ (not my fault... water jacket just ---- the bed because i've bored the block twice for different setups/pistons compression)
My car: 1995 Honda Civic Ex tuned w/ Crome on P28 w/ D16z6 fully built
I can get a new block for $40 from a friend... OR... i can get a B18b w/ tranny, axles, harness, and ECU for 280$ from a guy. GREAT DEAL i think!!!
MY QUESTIONS:
Does the flywheel and clutch assembly i have on my D fit on the B? I want to stay with my ACTxTreme clutch setup and flywheel. $$$
What is the HP ratings for the B18b? They came in the LS integra correct?
What is the difference between the B18b block, and the B18c block? (aside from the obvious LS / GSR)
All B series heads will bolt onto the B18 block correct? if i wanted to go Vtech w/ the setup (B18b does NOT have vTech correct?)
Will the B18b fit in the 92-95 civic easily? Will i need a mount kit from Hasport etc??
Are there any differences in the wiring harness?
Yes, i will be re-building the B block when i get it.
I'm deff a D series fan, but i've almost maxed out the D.... i'm lookin for 500+ #'s in the future.
I'll use the same turbo setup / injectors / and engine management as i have now (except for the manifold of course)

cuz i only have 90 somethin posts here on homemadeturbo.com. I'm a guru w/ the D's, but i guess i just shat on my accreditation cuz i dont know how to spell vtak!
But seriously~ I'm not a noob... i've been into boosted D hondas for years~

clutch and flywheel wont work, GSR blocks have a main girdle that LS dont. All b-series heads will bolt to your b18 block. YES the fit into EGs good. You will use your wirring harness u might have to add a few plugs.
