Default b18 intake mani question

Ok, there are a few guys arguing with me on SHO about the compatibility of intake manifolds. True or false, a b18a intake manifold will fit a gsr head by drilling your own mounting bolt holes. I'm almost positive you can b/c people use gsr and b16 manifolds on their nonvtec heads with some modification, but i have no personal experience with it so before I argue more, i want to know for sure. One of the guys said that you need to cut the flange off of the gsr mani and weld it to the ls mani, but that doesn't make sense at all-- as long as there is some material to drill through then you should be able to do it. The ports are all the same distance apart. So what is it bitches?

as far as i know there are a few bolt holes that are different. You can redrill them i think to make it fit... I know on A20A motors you can take a B18A or a B18C5 or B18C1 intake manifold and redrill the top bolt holes to fit the A20 head. Thats how i got my AEBS intake manifold to work
