Who me? What did I do? For years now I have found the typical 700-1gig rip if sufficient. Now for people who have great televisions and projectors, and are looking for quality then take the extra step and dl the full 4.7 to 9GB file. I personally am not going to download almost 5 gigs of Shrek.
Oh my bad if your in a state that offers 10mb dl for 30 bucks a month or whatever.

I don't know about everywhere else, but at least in this area...you don't have a choice of cable company, it depends on where you live. In the town I'm in now, Hazel Green, it's Mediacom. In the city I live in, Madison, it's Knology. 7mbps for $75 a month.

Yeah the bottom line is always going to be the location. On this same line I have now here in lancaster, ca. I had a 6mb/s connection, but I stopped wanting to pay 60 month.

lol, well i hope those aren't your average ratings because honestly they're pretty shitty.
One good thing I can say about knology (here at least) is that you WILL get what you pay for. You pay for the 5mb, you'll get 4935kbps or something similar, pretty damn close at least...even with a 100+ ms latency (have to use an atlanta server at that site).
At home, I have no internet except the shitty 2g gprs/edge tmobile internet on my phone :P Neighbors that I was leeching wireless from left about a month ago.
I'm assuming you have a 3mb connection now? What's it costing? Knology's 5mbps is $55 a month without any kind of bundle deal. I wish we had comcast, but comcast filters out bittorrent seeding now which is lame as hell.
