So I know this guy who has a D16Z6 long block and tranny... low mileage... he's asking $600 if I pick it up. Sounds kind of pricey to me. What you guys think? He says its in great condition but I'm only going on his word, haven't had a chance to look at it yet. What I want to know is what the price range on this should be.

Yea that seems a little steep, I would think more like $300-$400 depending on the mileage...

i couldnt imagine paying more than $600 if both are in really good shape. those trannies suck *** though. cast aluminum shift forks FTL!!!!!!!!!
