auto-x event! *updated w/pics* *video coming* *56k, eat my muff*
o.k., well, the even was yesterday and it was a blast! i almost didn't get to race because i 'forgot' my license, but i persuaded them to let me race with the i.d. card that i mysteriously found instead of my licese 
i placed 2nd in the STS (street touring) class, in my class was a sentra spec-v, a built hatch, a scooby impreza rs, an ep si, and an eclipse. it was fun and i did good for my first time (i think). for those of you who don't know, i'm in the red 00 si (only one pic i think, but plenty of video footage when i post it). my boy was in the yellow mazda 6, there were some pretty nice cars out there, there were two sick *** dsm's and one sick wrx (just wait for the video 
) anyways, heres some pics to hold you over.

My words of advice are..
Get there early and expect to stay the entire day.
Clean your car before you go. dont want cups and stuff flying around while your racing.
Make sure you sign up to work the track.
get ready for one hell of a good time.
Wish it was warm enough here to star but that wont happen till march.

AutoX is great! Been doing it for about four months in my Rex. Just hit the top of the novice group for GS. Next it will be GS/ST2.
I always have a great time.
My suggestion is to sign up for one of the driver training sessions. You get a ton of seat time, and to learn from your local experts about driving. They ride with you, and will even drive your car while you ride along. It last the whole day, and is totally worth it.
