Yes its a clutchless manual, and yes it and the 2.0t are junk. Not as shitty as the 1.8t, but still shitty nonetheless.

it could work if the latency was killed, and there was some load feedback, or at least clearance measurement of some sort.

i had the feeling that after 40kmiles it was worn a bit and didnt engage where the system expected, but an fsae mate of mine took a ride in a brand new m5 recently and said it was also pretty crappy. manual ftw!!

no idea if the engines suck or not, but i heard that the 20v audi motors could take a beating and make some decent power? did i hear wrong?

Welcome to sludge buildup with synthetic oils in less than 40k miles.

Amongst other things. They are a **** poor design with a laughable cylinder head. 5 valves dont mean ---- if the ports dont flow.

if by camary you mean camry, you are totally and utterly wrong.

the old is300 is absolutely nothing like a camry at all. the new is300 is significantly different to the old one to not really be the same either.

for a (really good) start, the is300 is RWD, and camrys are FWD...

do your homework before trying to tell some dip ---- that they dont know what they are talking about. it just comes off looking like you dont... i wonder which is true?

Look the point I was making is that he makes rash generalizations. point taken about picking better examples than the camry but the point was he should shut the ---- up. AWDStyles Vs RS discussion on GM cars was nice cause both parties were somewhat educated in responses and offered more than "GM Sucks /thread" as comments.

Drive train layout doesn't deem the car Completely different at a chassis level. Many manufactures make cars FWD or AWD available in the same chassis. only means there are different parts involved not a different car. Doesn't matter if the Talon is FWD or AWD its still a Talon.

i cant think of a vehicle that got both that was even close to the same.

all those fwd/4wd platforms share many similarities.

subby is a fwd/4wd inline setup

mazda/mitsi are fwd/4wd transverse setup

and skyline etc are rwd/4wd inline setup.

point taken though whether the dude deserves it or not, i'm not familiar with him really...
