Well, I also have a thing against the new honda's... that is... I hate them. But I also don't like base model neons.
Now, you offer me an 00 Si coupe vs an SRT-4 (pretend both had say, 5 miles on them brand new condition) and I'd really have to sit down and think about it.

According to kbb.com my neon is still worth $17k.
Not bad considering it was $21k two years and 40k miles ago.
and there are quite a few people on srtforums that have turned 100k in their neons.
Lots of them have upgraded to bigger turbos at 60-70k as well.
