Never had a 280zx but did have a 260z.

IIRC, with minor modification u can use the LSD rear end from an Infinity Q I think is what its called. its been so long since i've researched Datsun stuff.

if im not mistaking....all turbo models came with LSD...at least this 81 has it

You may be right. I never really looked into ZX stuff. I just know thats what was recommended for my Z.

Btw, by all means, get the car. Datsuns are ------ sweet... and the v8 swaps are soooo easy. ummm LS1 w/ boost in a 2600lb car? mmmm sexy.
