Sohc ZC's?! I've seen so many of those. As a matter of fact guy was selling his CRX HF and said he swapped out the 1.5 motor for another 1.5 motor, but it was really a SOHC ZC. I've seen just as many of those as DOHC ZC's, if not more. They are also cheaper in price compared to the DOHC. Some people have argued that the SOHC ZC has more torque than the DOHC. I dunno, I really don't care, I like the idea of a twin cam ZC motor .

Hey jeff, you said that the SOHC ZC Vtec's are rare? I would like one of those, but I was thinking do you think if you but a Z6 or Y8 head on a sohc ZC block you would get similar power? I think I have actually seen one SOHC ZC Vtec in my life, yeah his red civic was vtec, but he had ZC stamped on it. If this really is the ZC vtec, i feel honored. :P
