anyone have gum/dental problems

Re: anyone have gum/dental problems
doing much better now
I ended up with Gingivitis, a cleaning took care of that - $10 copay
While in the visit, they discovered some cavities, got the first two done today, 5 in total when they're done - $24.20 each copay
I'll do a followup cleaning in January - $10 copay
And of course wisdom teeth gotta come out. The fee varies based on if they come out non-surgical or not. - $21-$100+ each copay
I am pretty confident that had I continued dental visits and taken on the hefty bills, that I could have avoided everything except the wisdom teeth.
So to you youngings, stay in school! Wait I mean, take care of your teeth.
and what the hell stay in school too.

my biggest complaint will be the cost of wisdom removal if they go surgical, a $10 copay is great. Also I pay about $100 monthly for the insurance which I barely use (until now of course) so I'd say you're getting the better deal.
my biggest complaint with my provider, is that they told me i needed 3 fillings, quoted me for 3 fillings, scheduled an appointment for 3 fillings and then filled two and told me i needed 3 more. Kaiser has a history of doing things like that to get you back into the clinics as often as possible to get those copays from you. If they split them up a bit more, they get an extra $10 out of you each visit over the fees for the fillings, lol.

if you have to eat the fees on it, it might be worth it, but be careful, 1 office visit with a filling could cost you like $200 easy. Fillings uninsured at my dental office run like $100, but they charge you extras, for the office visit and such.

Approximate cost to have 4 wisdom teeth surgically removed, $2000+
