Hasport just put an h22 in a crx and came out with all the neccesary mounts, linkage etc. Since the f22 and h22 almost have the same mounts, and shift linkage it should work, with some uberdata for fuel management. I do see the point because of the trq. curve, cheap price of engine, and avaibility. I also can't spell I think I may still be drunk from last night.

Bisi did it, mated to a D-series transmission I do believe.

One of the H-series mount kits should do the trick. Place Racing used to make a kit (weld in, not bolt in) years and years back but I haven't seen or heard of one for a while. I don't doubt HASport has a $$$ solution for you, though.

F-series is not ideal unless you balance the reciprocating assembly. An LS would get your further, cheaper.

I love my f block, and I think it would be a nice setup having that much trq. in that light of a car, but true an ls would probually be easier to do. bisi's car is insane and has so much custom stuff done to the engine I don't even know if you can consider it an f block anymore.

Oh, I'm sure Bisi has an F-block... everything else is questionable.

If you had a bunch of stuff just laying around, go for the F-swap. If you want to make big power, or your goal is TOTAL STREET DOMINATION, you'd be happier B-series. Stock engines hold a bit more power, and the transmissions are better.

Don't the h series trannies bolt right on? Find a jdm lsd tranny and since f-series blocks are a dime a dozen you shouldn't have a problem find one. There like the bigger d-series cause people just take them out and toss them. I've always thought about this but damn the mounts cost more then what I can find a tranny and block for. That just says something right there.

yup, but if ur gona turbo the F22, then u should stick with an F tranny b/c H tranny has shorter gears, and u dont want to be bearly building boost and then have to shift.
