ii aint sellin my stock bumper just incase i do end up scrapping the idea like you say besides the center vents on mine are replaced by the intercooler. and yes it is untuned!!!! runs good but untuned. base map runner for the most part. the s-none i been ------ around with alot has a brand spankin new zz4 crate motor with a demon carb and headers, one tire fire and the wrong gears all together. ok lemme start from the begining. I bought this car with all this ---- on it everything was already done to it and it was very turn key other than it had no interior. just the dash and driver seat. all he gave me was a cd with the car and the wire to hook to the pc and did not tell me alot about it. come to find out the cd was just the megatune and a the program the car was running on. only reason i bought the car was because it runs on megasquirt and i have a starion running on it.i bought a mint silver si with a blown engine for a hundred bucks and took everything i needed from it it makes things hard though when you got to trace back all of what someone else did to fix things or change things you dont think they had right. you guys are right tho i think this car could run alot better with a less caveman type of system on it i just dont know what to do with it electronics wise. back before there was a web site like this i put an 87 integra engine and driveline in one of these.i had never heard of it being done till a few years later. i keep remembering more and more things the more i tinker with the car. im amazed at how many things ive forgotten about it. ill post some pics in the am of the under hood. its nice and neat for the most part.oh yeah and the stock harness is still there. the ms is piggybacked at the old ecu connector except for the wego. doesnt leak or burn a drop of oil or anything. ill take any input you guys have on what you think might make it better but jus dont slam it cause im tellin ya there more than a few raced out neons, lt powered z28's and 350s1oh's that are scared of it.you guys should be glad theres a lil honda beating up every worthy bigger but not better vehicle i can find. within a hundred mile radius of me there aint nothin like this running around. you out to see people look when they notice a laptop runnin in the passenger seat. oh and no i dont like the green!!! imagine seein a green crx roll by you down the street what you gonna do? PUNCH IT huh? i got **** here with ladder racks on there trucks eggin me on to race emat street lights. ohh and dont forget the cops love the color green! bad bad choice of color i must say. it is either going to be a white or a flat black havent decided yet not till the bodywork is done. someone gimme some helpful info of what to do, like what iintake manifold can i put on this thing to get rid of the gay 87 tb with two butterflys in it. or maybe a stage 3 or higher clutch and flywheel combo from another honda or ac that might fit in this thing. im on my second stage two that doesnt last long at 14lb honestly i left it at 8lb since the second clutch cause it doesnt slip hardly in 3 4 and 5 unless i put someone in the car. STOP bashin start helping isnt that what this was started for?

i have a 99 blazer ZR2, and am on a s10/blazer forum. (zr2usa.com)
It's a fairly easy swap in the newer s10/blazers. The 4.3 v6 they use is the 5.7v8 w/ just two cylinders chopped off.
U get different engine mounts (just like a d to B swap), You put the v6 flywheel on the v8, to mate the v8 to the v6 tranny (basically the same), use the v8 engine harness, and re-flash the ECU. Everything else bolts right up. Waterpumps are the same, alternators, a/c accessories... Fairly easy swap. If i wasn't sellin my blazer, that would have been the project for the summer.
i've got 4.55 gears in the front and rear diffs w/ 33"x12.5" m/t tires.... a 5.7L Vortec would have done nice

It's simple really, coming from a guy that had 3 of them previously. The easiest one's to do are the pre-efi ones...early 80's. Go buy the specialized sbc mount kit and headers, because you really don't have alot of room to ---- up on those. The headers are shorty style, but they have nice thick primary's and the set I had were stepped and finished off with a 2.5" collector. From there it's just a matter of preparing a well built sbc, 400sbc was my engine of choice. Bump c/r a bit (I ran 9.85:1 on 93 octane), a minimum of 2.02/1.60 valve size (vortech heads are great for ultimate cheapness here, although you really can't beat the trick-flow 23* heads), tunnel ram intake manifold helped out a bit in my setup, Holley 4-barrel 750cfm carb, upgraded holley mechanical fuel pump, and the biggest ------' cam you can stuff in there. Couple that to a nicely built turbo 350 trans (just don't plan for highway runs ) and a decent (maybe a 3200rpm or a hair higher) stall converter. Stock s-10 driveshaft is ok until you start pounding over 500 ponies, then they start turning into twizzlers. Ditch the stock gm open diff rear with the c-clips...any big dog knows a ford 9" is the only way to roll if you want it to last. Your gearing ratio will play alot here too...3.83's will rocket like no tomorrow, but don't even think of going into the 4.11 range...you'll just be another smoke show. Even the 3.83 gearing is pushing it. A properly installed and setup 4-link rear suspension is 10x's better than the stock leaf springs and does wonders to help grab traction. A nice wide set of stickie's on the rear, and as was the case for me, maybe an additional few hundred pounds of lead in the rear frame rails. You've never experienced power until you put over 450hp in a well-setup s-10...you will bug eye and ---- your pants at the same time you're screaming at the top of your lungs.
Come local to me in NE-PA...you'll see quite a few s-10's that'll run faster than a 10sec 1/4 mile.

Put on the kit, paint the car black, and we'll see. Until then, your car looks like ----...and i'm not too sure about you're 250 crank hp....But i believe you hand it to s-10's all day long. Hillbillies seem to think theyre fast because they sound fast. Every SBC sounds the same to me.....PFFFFFFFFFFFFT Good luck with the rex..














And dont bash Bondo like that, When used properly, It's very handy. Theres a right way and a wrong way to mould your bodykit, and BOTH methods require Bondo...Just so you know.
